Define your own path to Net Zero
EnergyWise provides a practical and financially viable path to Net Zero.
Most organisations are not clear exactly what Net Zero means for them, and what it costs to achieve. Buying carbon credits to offset your organisation’s emissions may provide a short-term solution, however, it is expensive to sustain and unlikely to pass the pub test, especially in the future.
Our consultants can help you optimise outcomes from:
- Government policies, grants and rebate schemes
- Understanding your energy supply chain
- Balancing investor and customer expectations
A structured approach
Our structured approach includes:
- Conducting carbon audits to measure, quantify, and create a roadmap for emissions reduction.
- Enhancing energy efficiency in major equipment to lower energy consumption.
- Installing on-site renewable energy solutions, such as solar and battery storage.
- Evaluating new equipment upgrades for direct and indirect carbon emissions
- Selecting low-emission suppliers to reduce scope 2 and 3 emissions.
- Minimising emissions from transport, waste, and other operational areas.
- Performing follow-up carbon audits to track progress and refine strategies.
- Exploring opportunities to generate carbon credits where viable.
- Offsetting remaining emissions through green power and carbon credit purchases.
National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme
NGERS (National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme) is a mandatory sustainability disclosure administered by the Australian Clean Energy Regulator. It commenced on January 1, 2025, initially targeting the largest greenhouse polluters. By 2027-28, it is expected to cover approximately 20,000 Australian businesses, including many medium size enterprises.
Energywise helps businesses reduce their emissions with a range of practical and proven technologies, in preparation for NGERS requirements.
Our sustainability recommendations are not theoretical. They are based on the real-world experience of delivering energy saving projects across diverse building and industry types since 2007.
We help businesses cut costs, optimise energy use, and limit their reliance on expensive offsets. This approach meets sustainability goals and enhances long-term financial and operational performance.
