Round 4 NSW Fast Charging Grant Now Open

NSW is co-funding new electric vehicle fast charging stations to close network gaps, support regional connectivity and future-proof charging infrastructure.

How the Funding Works

$39M is now available under Round 4 of the Grant. Over the life of the Grant, applicants can receive up to $20M in co-funding.

Funding is available to help charge point operators and site hosts build, own and operate fast and ultra-fast public EV charging stations across NSW.

Typical funding supports include:

Site infrastructure for fast charging stations
Charger hardware and installation
Grid connection and electrical upgrades
Associated project costs required to operationalise the station

Funding is offered on a co-funding basis, with the NSW Government contributing to projects that might not otherwise proceed without support, and unlocking significant private sector investment.
