Guarantee We guarantee that Energywise products will achieve an actual savings result of at least 80% of the savings estimate in our Energy Savings Proposal to you. If we do not achieve this, then we will take responsibility for the outcome. We will immediately refund to you the amount of money necessary to increase the savings to the estimated level for the period through until your investment in Energywise products has fully paid for itself. Verification Testing We will conduct free verification testing for a period before and after the installation of your Energywise products. The exact duration of the testing will depend on your site conditions and your typical pattern of electricity usage. For example, some premises have virtually identical electricity patterns from day-to-day – in such an instance, 24 hour testing before and after would be sufficient to reliably capture the savings being achieved. In other places, there are significant variations in electricity usage patterns, fluctuating with the weather (i.e. refrigeration and HVAC loads), staff levels, business operations, after-hours events, the implementation of other energy efficiency measures or practices etc. The variables involved in energy use make any form of verification testing in this industry potentially subject to external influences. We do our best to work with our clients to understand their specific situation and to capture any relevant information that needs to be taken into account. Quality control and transparency is paramount. In some cases we may need to analyse the data obtained during this testing phase in conjunction with the half hourly data provided by your electricity retailer. This enables a longer period of broader analysis before and after the installation of Energywise products by which to measure the savings. The data obtained from this analysis process will be used to calculate the actual savings figure achieved by your implementation of Energywise products. In the unlikely event that there is a dispute about the calculated savings or the methodology of the approach, an independent company who is experienced in analysing energy savings from the specific products can be employed for a final independent determination at the clients cost. We aspire to never requiring this recourse. We have a policy of providing conservative savings estimates in our original energy savings proposal (on the premise of ‘under-promise and over-deliver’) and our verification process is transparent, thorough, utilises precision equipment and highly trained electrical contractors and involves the client throughout. |
